15 Things You didn't Know About HUAWEI👇

1.Starting from its campus Huawei has a massive campus in china for its employees that its divided in 12 separate towns and each one is based on a famous European city.

2.In fact there is so much space here that it takes a total 22 minutes to do a lap on the tram, yes this place has a train built in it which truly justifies the massive size of the campus.

3.Not only this the campus houses a castle where the company has its own very secretive research unit

4.One of the cool ones is Huawei makes a pair of smart glasses with built in speakers for listening music and dual microphones with noise cancelation for making calls .

5.Now that's a weird one they  have a rotating chairman system were you got three people who take turn to become the company's top ranking leaders for six months at a time,to be fair it's a crazy idea, but it kind of makes sense,it's done so that different leaders could bring expertise from different parts of the company.

6.The company is incredibly important to china,it's not just the countries way to show the world that they are innovating but Huawei also employees over 100,000+ people in china alone.

7.Also Huawei brings in so much money that if something  happens to the company it would shake the entire countries GDP.

8.Now you probably know that Huawei has been involved in a fare share of controversies they have had a pretty rocky relationship with the U.S and a big part of that stems from the founder Ren Zhengfei who served as an engineer in china's military, people are concerned that because of this he has a strong connection to the chinese government and all the reports on spying and potential security threat has put the U.S on Guard.

9.It is interesting that his founder has just a stake of less than 2% in the company and is still one of the richest people in china.

10.This gets a bit stranger that the founder himself publicly praises the iphone, a direct competitor of Huawei also he said to the  press that he buys iphone for his whole family.

11.With this safety concern that the U.S government has for Huawei has caused a massive Knock on effect it means that U.S carriers like Verizon have actually backed down from offering Huawei phones because of government pressure and so pretty much the only way you can buy a Huawei is unlocked considering that 90% of the population they're only buy their phones on contract this leads us to the next problem.

12.Almost nobody in the U.S has a Huawei phone while the company has around 35% percent of the chinese market they actually sell really well in Europe but in the U.S less than 1% of people use a Huawei

13.It actually gets worse than that for a lot of countries Huawei has been cut from their 5g plans the way it works is there's actually three primary companies that build 5g infrastructure you have got Huawei,Ericsson,Nokia and in places like the U.S and Australia the governments have straight up stopped Huawei from being any part of it

14.Unfortunately Huawei does not help themselves this growing distrust is often made worse by their own marketing campaigns  because it turns out it's not just the founder who buys iphones  it is apparently half the social Media team, Huawei has a famously high amount of tweets from both official accounts and the celebrities they endorse these tweets tell everyone how great their devices are actually tweeted from  an iphone.

15.Add to that early in 2019 there was a massive controversy about something called moon mode on the P30 pro this phone was launched with a feature that allowed people to zoom 50 times in and still capture a sharp picture of the moon but there was a photographer who did a whole series of tests and he came to a conclusion that they were faking it,Huawei was supposedly using AI to detect the moon and then almost like photoshop to fill the details that weren't even there to make the photo look better now this was never actually confirmed by multiple sources and Huawei themselves denies doing it so it may not even be true but regardless it didn't help the trust situation for the company
